Snow in January feels essential.

The last time I saw snow in January was when I visited Japan in 2020. While travel still feels different three years later, I’m so grateful we got to take a trip to Lake Tahoe with our snow dog, and that I was able to see family in Alaska. It was a little difficult taking two trips almost back to back, and of course it was a struggle being away from Stella for the first time ever, but I’m grateful nonetheless.
