Bathroom Sink Organization

Sometimes getting sick is a perfect opportunity to practice integrating healthier habits and mindsets.

I tested positive for COVID for the first time in three years and it was not a pleasant experience. I felt the worse I’ve ever felt in the last ten years or more, but I’m better now! Before I really got sick, I started our mini bathroom makeover because our sink leaked a couple days before. The project was stalled due to waiting on contact paper and recovering, but it’s finally complete. 😄

Watch the transformation in the video below!

While isolating, some unhealthy habits, like negative self-talk, and mindsets kept coming up. Isolation was a very lonely experience, but it gave me the opportunity to integrate the healthier mindsets and habits I cultivated while I was well. Taking the time to notice my feelings and practice mindfulness, like drawing, helped me heal mentally and emotionally while my body was recovering. I share a little bit more about this experience in the video and in my newsletter.
