Starting A YouTube Channel
“I am learning every day to allow the space between where I am and where I want to be inspire me and not terrify me.” - Tracee Ellis Ross
Before I began blogging, I dreamed of creating videos. I don’t just have a passion for words, but also design, music, and storytelling. But over and over, I felt fear and doubt and imposter syndrome telling me that I didn’t have the skills, the looks, the voice, or the confidence to even try.
Each time I talked myself down though, the desire to create kept coming back up, as if to say, “I’m still here. I still want to try.”
When I think about the person I’m becoming and the life I’m building, I don’t want to look back and regret all the moments I never gave myself a chance. So, I’m doing it—I started a YouTube channel and released my first video. Watch it below or on YouTube.
I’m so excited to share this journey with you all. As I mentioned in my newsletter, you continue to support me in showing up as my best self, and I hope in some small way, I’m helping you do the same.
What ideas, dreams, or desires keep coming up for you? Can you give yourself a chance to work towards those dreams in a small way today?
If you’re willing to share, drop a comment below—I’m here to cheer you on!
